Horton...ok

This family favorite, Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who, did not exceed our expectations. Most of the film was good, although some of the content was oddly placed as fill time.

No foul language, only one scene that could be considered frightening (at least to my children), and no inappropriate content - unless you consider one of the characters that looked to be high as a kite as inappropriate.

It's one of those movies that are better on video and really should have been left as a book. Of course, the theme of the movie still comes through as it does in the book: a person's a person no matter how small (or large or black or red or Jewish or Catholic or fill in the blank).

The kids had a great time, though. We did the popcorn, soda, nachos thing (yeah, we usually are the sneaking in outside food kind of people). They are definitely going to be movie-goers like us.
