The Lost Clue

Another wonderful story. I flew through this one in about a week. The Lost Clue by Mrs. O.F. Walton is not a mystery as I first suspected. There is a bit of who-done-it but the real theme is longed-for romance. I'm not much for romance novels (the trashy kind), and this is definitely not that kind of romance. It is one that entices you to keep reading just to find out when they will tell one another of their love.

Tomorrow I will be getting some kind of scan done on my gallbladder. I've been trying to eat lots of high fats to bring on the stomach pain just so they might find what's wrong. So far, no good. I just sent hubby out to bring home Billy Sims BBQ; maybe that will do the trick. If anything, it will be a scrumptious meal. The good news is all my biopsies came back negative. Can't complain about that!

In a few weeks, love-o-my life and I will be going to the Phantom of the Opera. I'm very excited. I am trying to plan it out so that I look really hot; you know, high heels, black slenderizing dress, hair professionally done, dark eye makeup so I can look mysterious. I guess he'll have to be the judge.

I don't like romances, either. :-)

Those kind of night outs need a warning label. "May result in children." *L*
