My Mates and I
This book reminded me so much of myself as a youth. I had a half-hearted committment to Christ, and because I hadn't fully submitted to Him fell easily when temptation arose. There are several fantastic quotes that I want to go back and copy down. I'll admit, I thought it was going to be about sailors. The main character Charles and his "mates" begin a bible study with an older lady who is passionate about Christ. Charles takes us through some of his most memorable moments leading up to his crisis of faith. It's a great read and I recommend it.
